Telegram’s Wallet bot now allows Bitcoin, USDT and TON payments within the app
Wallet, a bot on the messaging app Telegram, now offers a new feature that allows users to make payments using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Tether (USDT), and Toncoin (TON).
This feature, called Wallet Pay, enables direct payments within the Telegram interface.

However, it’s important for merchants to check if their jurisdictions permit crypto payments. Wallet Pay is available in most countries, except the United States and those blacklisted by the Financial Action Task Force. The compliance responsibility falls on local businesses to ensure they can legally accept crypto payments.
Some countries, including Russia and Indonesia, do not allow residents to make crypto payments. Wallet Pay charges fees ranging from 1% to 3% during its beta phase. Withdrawal fees for Bitcoin, USDT, and TON apply as well.
